Re: Reviews of iPhone/iPod Touch Apps
Agree that the free Facebook app is great. It's not fully functional (can't do "like" & you can only go back so far...can't call up stuff from last week) BUT...you can do a LOT of FB things more easily than if you were using Safari.
Also love the iPhone Tweetdeck.
brickman, is QuickOfficeFiles (99 cents) included in QuickOffice (on sale for $12.99)?

Twiiterific is another wonderful FREE Twitter app. I used it for a long time before I had $5 I need to spend to get another Twitter App.

Re: Reviews of iPhone/iPod Touch Apps
I agree about Twitterific; my only complaint is that there is a particular icon for someone I follow (Pocket God
) that is very cute & won't display at all. My other two FREE Twitter apps show it fine (TwitterFon & TweetDeck.)

Re: Reviews of iPhone/iPod Touch Apps
Well, let's see what I can add to this thread now that I've been using my Tough for a bit....
First, ditto the above review on Stanza. Very nice e-book reader, with free desktop component that lets you easily transfer books via wifi from desktop to Touch/iPhone.DragonHunter

Laridian PocketBible
Free
A+
I was a long-time user of Laridian's Palm Bible app. I was impressed several years ago when the announced that if you bought a resource (bible, book, etc.) they would let you use it on any platform they support. I was thrilled when they released their iPhone app a few weeks ago.
All I had to do was enter my customer info that I use on their website and voila! all the Bibles and books I had purchase the last several years were there and ready to by installed via wifi to my Touch.
Navigation is easy, searching is fast. Everything I've come to expect from using this on my Palm is on my Touch now. One update has been pushed already, I expect more in the near future. Laridian seems to be pretty on the ball from my experience.DragonHunter

FileAid
Free
A
This is a simple app that lets you ftp files from your desktop to your iPhone/Touch via wifi and then view them. The transfer is simple. Start the app, click on the sharing and then follow the simple on-screen instructions to open a window on your desktop and drag and drop files. Supports Office and PDFs. Nice for those files you want to be able to reference away from your desk.DragonHunter

Nice simple list app. Remembers what you list so making subsequent lists is easier. (I use it for groceries mostly, and also my "WalMart" list) Several options. Can do multiple lists.DragonHunter

Simple touchpad app. (Needs free desktop client) Lets you use your Touch of iPhone as a touchpad via your wifi network. Useful for when I am sitting on the couch with my netbook hooked up to the flatscreen. I also plan to use for presentations. With the paid version you get a keyboard as well.DragonHunter
