I can honestly say that I have never had reception problems with my iPhone. Unfortunately, no one can say anymore because it hasn't been released yet. Might be a bit premature for this type of thread.

    Serious question

Does it run word and excel and allows one to edit and resend such files ???

    Will it read pdfs ????

That I think is the real crunch as far as the pda side of it is !!!!!
Else it will just be like the nolia "internet tablet - useless but for multimedia - glorified cellular ipod ????
As of the Macworld demo, it didn't support the office suite file formats, but Jobs also said that they were continuing development of the software and by the time it is released, office/pdf support might be there.

Hmm... not premature at all... as least not as far as the fun of speculation, informed and otherwise, about its features, specs, Cingular, etc.!! So, yes, a How capable is the iPhone thread? could be useful! Or at least mildly entertaining!
