hotsync issues on apple powerbook
Hi there --
I recently purchased a Palm IIIc used. It did not come with an installation cd. Tried opening Hotsync manager from palm folder, got error message "shared library error". Did some digging and found out I needed an installation cd because just downloading applications isn't good enough.
Got cd on ebay. Won't install. Contacted seller, he says to "right-click" this and "left-click" that. I have a laptop with no multi-button mouse. He's not 100% sure the cd is Mac compatible. Great.
Any ideas? Any Mac compatible installation cds floating around out there? Thanks for any help you can give.
Cheers

Hello schnack, and welcome to Brighthand!
You can download the Mac verson of Palm Desktop for free directly from palmOne. The palmOne Macintosh site (along with a download link for Palm Desktop) can be found here.
The download verison of Palm Desktop will have some additional features that won't work with the IIIc like address book photos, but all of the IIIc's features will be supported by the latest version.
