can sync everything but address book

I have the IIIc, which has 3.5.3 OS, and I'm using Palm Desktop 4.1 on Windows ME... Everything but the address book and datebook/calendar will sync, and it's driving me nuts, as that's the most important thing to me. Do I need to upgrade to Palm OS 4? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you inspected the Hotsync conduits?

Select the HS icon from the toolbar, select CUSTOM, make sure your units name is in title bar, and determine of the Addressbook and Datebook conduits are present and what teh action is.

If present the action would seem that they may be set to DO NOTHING? Selct the CHANGE button, and make the action SYNCHRONIZE.

If the conduits are not present, then reinstall your Palm desktop software, this should restore the settings and enable the two conduits.

If uncertain or wish additional information, select VIEW LOG and determine if any errors are related to these conduits or if they report and OK action. Copy and paste to your next reply if uncertain.
