My palm IIIc freezes on the calculator. The screen beeps when I touch it but it does nothing. Soft and hard resets do work but only temporarily. HELP!

Are you using the built-in calculator?

What do you mean when you say a hard reset only helps temporarily? Can you find any pattern?

    Question IIIC Freezing

It works fine somedays then all of a sudden it will freeze on the built in calc. Soft and hard resets use to resolve this until today. It did not react to the stylus even after reseting. Had to physically disconnect the battery to get it operational.

This kind of intermittent failure may be a hardware failure. You may want to contact Palm Medic or PDA Specialists to see how much a repair would cost.

    Default IIIC Freezing

Jennifer I took the advice that you gave a previous poster and removed a few uneeded programs and this seems to be working so far. I guess I have to watch what I download! Thank you. 1
