IIIc and network connecting

I've read the handbook a thousand times and I still can't connect properly to the internet via ppp. I'm currently connected to a pc via the serial cable from the palm IIIc, and that pc is connected to a dsl modem and is connected...I figured that I would be able to setup the palm to connect through the pc to the dsl service, and have gotten as far as the 'sign on' screen within the palm software, but I can't seem to configure the scripting right to finish the connection. I'm pretty sure that my ISP requires passoword authentication, but I don't know how to relay that into the scripting of the palm connection...any help would be great...this is what I'm trying to do:
the newer cell phones allow for radar images (weather) directly to them...I've found a few similar java apps for the palm and I was considering connecting that to my current cell phone (nextel) and using that as the connection to the internet...I wanted to test this all out with my hard line through my pc before attacking the configurations of the wireless connections...thanks for any help or advice

You need Mocha PPP.
