The addiction continues....
If only I had decided to go back home in time for dinner instead of driving down 10 miles to Staples. If only Staples lacked good clearance items like the other Staples I went to. If only it took me longer to park and those computer nerds beat me to it. But they didn't.
On the corner of the clearance table a orange and black box covered with a tacky clearance sign. Was 59.98 Now 30.00 $15.00
$15 for a GPS. I wish I wasn't such a sucker for a GPS. StreetFinder GPS for Palm III. Palm III? Do they still make that. I really wish I knew the Palm market. Some reason the only ones I have seen lately had strange numbers after them not the simple Roman numerials. Well not being one to pass up a bargain I bought it. Now I need a Palm III so this GPS will work.
Finding this site and searching the Internet helped me to understand a hand sized organizer/computer world that I never understood before. Like a disease I could feel it spreading. Even without owning the handheld itself I needed more.....
Today I bought a rechargable battery conversion kit and a 2-8mb backup card for the Palm I have yet to purchase. Its a disease you can fight, but you cant beat. I am now forever living in the Handheld world.
