    Unhappy getting problem resolved

Does any one have any suggestions.

I have a IIIxe that I purchases in April 2001. I get a fatal error/fatal exception and the unit freezes. I have tried every reboot possible and I keep getting this error. The most I can do is hard boot to clear everything. But as soon as i enter a few addresses and dates or sync I get the fata errors.

My problem is that I am not getting any response from palm. I have sat for hours on the phone, been disconnected off the chat and not had my e-mails responded to.

What's wrong have they "blacklisted" me or what?

Do you get fatal errors even before you HotSync after a hard reset?

Have you checked to see if your IIIxe has the DRAM problem?

    I checked and I don't have a DRAM problem.

Also, even after I do a hard reset and clear ALL data and software I still lock up whether or not I sync. It seems related to adding entries. If I manually enter a phone number, calander, memo or TTD it locks up.

I finally got through to a chat session last night and went through the entire procedure of reset, warm reset and hard reset with Damien. When I demonstrated to him that it did not work he stopped responding.

Even though the chat showed him as "listening" he did not respond for over a half an hour when I finally hung up.
