Reinstalling Palm

Hi,

I had to reinstall my OS - Win 2k in the PC and after installing Palm software on my PC - Palm desktop/Documents etc its not getting synchronized.Even the Mail client for some reason is not getting installed. Please help.

Hello Amitabh.

When you reinstall Palm Desktop on Windows NT, 2000, or XP, you need to install if from the Windows account which will HotSync with the Palm. That Windows account will also need to have the Administrator right appled to it, so the Palm Desktop installer can write to/update the Windows registry.

Once Palm Desktop and any third party software has been installed, you can have the admin right revoked.
