I frequently drive the Interstate 5 from Irvine to Downtown L.A. On this route, my signal strength is almost always at 4 or 5; however, I cannot send or receive email--period. I invariably receive an error with I try to "get and send"--sometimes 2004, sometimes 2005, sometimes 2006, sometimes 2012...

If you drive this route, do you have the same experience?


Very, very frustrating to have almost full strenght and not be able to send/receive...

PS Does full-strength signal and simultaneous errors reflect problems with palm.net and NOT with Cingular/Mobitex??? I never had problems sending/receiving on this freeway with my Blackberry...
