If you'll search this forum, you'll see a number of posts asking the same thing. It's been dead for months, and Starbucks isn't planning to resurrect it. Too bad Palm keeps pushing it on their software connection pages! There are some other PQAs which are dead due to lack of server support.

Starbuck's response
I e-mailed Starbuck's about this a couple of weeks ago. I've pasted the e-mails below with names edited out.

I have a Palm i705 PDA. It allows me to download Web Clipping software to see parts of web sites designed for wireless access. One web clipping application is Starbuck's Store Locator, apparently developed in 1999. The problem is that it doesn't work and hasn't worked since I first got it in March 2002. I would greatly appreciate any efforts you could make in fixing this application. Thank you, Ed

Dear [Ed],
Thank you for contacting Starbucks.com.
Unfortunately, the Starbucks Coffee Store Locator by Palm.Net Services software is not currently functional. Starbucks did not create this software and will most likely not be offering any updated versions.
Starbucks hopes to offer a wireless Store Locator in the future. However, at this time we have no date expected for launch.
Please feel free to register on Starbucks.com to sign up to receive e-mail from Starbucks about news, promotions, and preferred merchants. We also send out the occasional e-mail with information about seasonal and new merchandise, new services offered, and site and store enhancements.
Thanks again for your interest in Starbucks Coffee Company.
Warm regards,

[Starbuck's Rep],
Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question. I understand Starbuck's position and hope that they do something in the future. In the meantime, I recommend that Starbuck's take the wireless app off of www.tucows.com <http://www.tucows.com> . It actually shows up on my PDA as a Top 10 download. That means a lot of people continue to download it, only to get frustrated with it and Starbucks.
Thanks,
ed

Starbuck'e 2nd reply:
Dear [ed],
Thank you for your feedback regarding Starbucks.com.
While Starbucks did not put the application up, we will again look into whether it can be taken down. Thanks again for the information.
Thank you again for your comments. Please let us know if you have any other feedback or questions.
Warm regards,
