    Angry Protocol Error 5010

When I look at a message in Multimail that says the body was not retrieved, I click on More to get the body of the message. When the i705 tries to retrieve the message, I get a Protocol Error 5010. What is this? I have a strong enough connection.

I've seen other reports of this problem, but I'm not aware of a solution at this time. Please report this to Palm.net tech support so they will know there are multiple users with the same problem.

Taken from the Palm Knowledge finder.

    Information on error 5010.

Two Scenarios where the error message can occur:

    1) Email client tries to retrieve an attachment from a message where the attachment is no longer present

    2) If a Palm? i705 handheld user receives an Error 5010 it usually indicates that only the mail header was retrieved on the wireless handheld. The message was removed from the server and the user tried downloading the remainder of the message.
