    Default jigwashere bought a TP2!

Okay, now what? I'm posting from my 755p, on my way home from the Sprint store. Should I open the box and activate it?

    Holy Rusted Metal!

I hear it retains a higher resale value if you leave it in the box.

I'm just shocked to find myself being a trendsetter...

Congrats, Jig! Now you can be an even bigger help to me!

Somedays it's not even worth chewing through the restraints...

I should only have to LET the technology work for me. If I have to MAKE the technology work for me, it's not a tool - It's a boat anchor. And I've got better things to do than manage boat anchors, especially if I don't have a boat.

Suddenly, I find myself wanting an iPhone.

I kid, I kid. If I ever review the TP2, I'm listing you as one of its Pros.

I'm beginning to think upgrading my 5800 to a TP2 instead of an N97 just for the community that's forming. Don't laugh. Half of what coninced me to go with Palm when I first went looking for a handheld was all the helpful Palm folks I found here at Brighthand.

I'm unboxing right now. Charge it first? Or just go ahead and activate it and start playing.

Wow. I'm posting from my 755p, but already I feel like I'm starting to miss it.

By the way, I would have purchased this (on impulse) last week, but Sprint reps told me I couldn't buy it at the store because I'm on SERO. I happened to walk by the corporate store today and stopped in for another oggle. The rep there said he sells to SERO customers all the time. I walked out of the store thinking I'd stop in another day, but on impulse I ran back and handed over my credit card.

I suspected that serendipitous Sprint store story sounded suspicious. You don't think he traded in his wife to get the deal do you? Oh Jiggy, why'd you do it?

No laughter here. I totally understand. Plus, I'd love to have your expertise on call when I have a conundrum.

Diamond earings for our anniversary and an iPod Touch for Christmas -- not to mention the fact that after rebate, a couple of service credits, and a lower monthly plan will basically make my TP2 free by April -- my wife's happy. I also spent the day chipping 2 inch thick ice from her parents' driveway and sidewalks, then spent a couple of hours with her dad at the mall while she went to a movie, so I've got her fooled into thinking I deserve it.

Hook, I would love it if you got a TP2!. The more the merrier.
