Somedays it's not even worth chewing through the restraints...
I should only have to LET the technology work for me. If I have to MAKE the technology work for me, it's not a tool - It's a boat anchor. And I've got better things to do than manage boat anchors, especially if I don't have a boat.

I KNOW. But he should also now get a TP2. We could get this forum all fired up and make it "THE Place To Be!"

Re: jigwashere bought a TP2!
Well, my TP2 is fully charged. I put the included screen protector on it. I haven't activated it yet, which might have to wait until tonight. I haven't been home for a few days and I know there's a lot of ice to clear from the sidewalks there.
In anticipation of this purchase, I've taken some notes from JRakes' and Mi An's threads, as well as a few others. Handango has a 25% off year end sale. should I jump on that and buy backup and utility software right away? I don't have my notes here, but as I recall I might want Resco Explorer, Sprite or another backup program, and SK Tools. Does that sound right? Of course, I'd prefer freeware, but don't mind paying for things I'll need. Is 25% off pretty good, or should I wait for a better deal?
I have a sort list of what I think is freewarw to install. One is an app to allow for screen rotation with all apps. I don't think I want to bother with too much customization until I've read the manual and played with it for a while. I really didn't customize my 755p much, either.
I have a copy of Agendus that I obtained a year or two ago, so I might install that. It's not a priority for me.
One of the biggest things for me will be removing crap/bloatware and doing things to optimize performance. I'd really appreciate advice along those lines.
Oh, a the mall where I bought my TP2, there was a kiosk for Invisible Shield. They showed me a protected iPhone. The product looks decent. The full body protection would be something like $25 and another $10 if they install it. Lifetime warranty, apparently. I'm tempted, although cheaper products are available. What do you think?
The Krussel holster for my 755p fits the TP2 quite well. The TP2 is a hair longer and wider, but thinner. I've considered keeping it naked, but want to protect it and hope to keep it for perhaps 3 years or longer. Maybe I should get the Bodyglove case, too.
Dang. This is getting $$$! Better slow down.

Okay, I've activated it. This is my first post using it. So far, navigating the device has been an exercise in frustration. Every time I try to do something, it seems I do something unintended. It's very strange. I'm sure the experience will improve, but I think it's going to tke some time.
