Exclamation ROM Center

ROM CENTER
158000+ VIEWS THANKS !

General informations:
IT WILL CHANGE SYSTEM LANGUAGE TO ENGLISH !

File name's:
FILES MUST BE: HPIMAGE.BIN (UPDATE IMAGE) AND BLDIAG.NB0 (UPDATE LOADER)

SD Card:
SD CARD CAN'T BE BIGGER THAN 2GB, BUT THERE IS NO GUARANTY THAT YOUR SD CARD WILL WORK, OBM'S ARE LOW LEVEL CODE, SO THEY CAN NOT RECOGNIZE SOME CARD'S

SD CARD MUST BE FORMATED WITH FAT-16 FILE SYSTEM, OBM'S DOESN'T SUPPORT ANY OTHER

HPIMAGE.BIN AND BLDIAG.NB0 MUST BE ON ROOT OF SD CARD

Rom update:
TO UPDATE ROM COPY HPIMAGE.BIN AND BLDIAG.NB0 TO SD CARD, THEN INSERT SD CARD TO DEVICE, PRESS CALENDAR AND WINDOWS KEY'S AND THEN RESET DEVICE, IT DOESNT MAKE DIFFERENCE HOW YOU DO THIS, YOU CAN PRESS RESET BUTON OR SOFT RESET FROM ANY APPLICATION WHICH SUPPORT THIS

IF EVERYTHING IS OK YOU WILL SEE SCREEN LIKE THIS:

IF NOT DEVICE WILL REBOOT TO WINDOWS (THIS MEAN THAT THERE IS PROBLEM WITH SD CARD AND BOOTLOADER DOESNT SEE IT OR YOU RELEASE BOOTKEYS TOO FAST)

IF YOU WILL SEE WHITE SCREEN AND "NO IMAGE FOUND" THIS MEAN THAT:
-SD CARD IS BAD AND BOOTLOADER DOESNT SEE HPIMAGE.BIN
-UPDATE IMAGE NAME IS WRONG, IT MUST BE HPIMAGE.BIN
-UPDATE IMAGE IS DAMAGED

AFTER UPDATE IS FINISHED DEVICE WILL REBOOT IN CLEAN BOOT MODE
IF IT WILL NOT START WINDOWS AFTER THIS BUT WILL STAY IN THIS MODE IT MEAN THAT:
-UPDATE WAS NOT COMPLEATED
-UPDATE IMAGE WAS DAMAGED
REPEAT FLASHING TO FIX THIS

The app I have made, makeHPL.exe does the patching of OS-new.nb
So now the HPimage.bin file can be build from the batch file!

I am trying to dump image from my device using pdocread. However, I am only able to list all partitions on the devices. When I try to dump one of them, it shows me this:
Quote:
ERROR: ITTFFSGetInfo - The device is not ready for use.

WARNING: using default 512 bytes for sectorsize
CopyTFFSToFile(0x0, 0x31fc00, Part00.raw)
ERROR: ITReadDisk : read 0000005e bytes - The device is not ready for use.
Did you dump partitions like this?
Quote:
pdocread -w -d FLASHDR -p Part00 0 0x31fc00 Part00.raw
Quote:
pdocread -w -d FLASHDR -p Part01 0 0x2e0000 Part01.raw

That's a problem. Use the 0x800 sector size.

Quote:
CopyTFFSToFile(0x0, 0x39e0000, Part0.raw)
ERROR: ITReadDisk : read 00000000 bytes - The storage control block address is i

But 3 files are created. Is it normal to receive this error ?
