Flashing 112 from Windows 6 to Windows 5

Hi,

I need to get certain applications to run on the hand held using Active Sync 4.2 - so I need to get Windows 5 loaded onto this device.

I do know that some versions of this hand held came with Windows 5 - is there a ROM or .bin available for this?

Then what would be the correct method to do so?

HP website only has the Windows 6 ROM update available.

Were you able to downgrade to an older version of OS ? Please share how this was done.

To the others:

There might be some terminology misused here. I have the same dilemma.

I have Windows Mobile Classic 6 (CE OS 5.2.1711) and the ipaq i purchased has CE OS 5.2.1616.

Those darn people at HP. One minute difference in the build number and my application ceases to function.
