MTekk has iPaq 6300 photo

Second verse, same as the first--almost. In a near repeat of our story yesterday, we're once again presented with information on the iPaq 6300 from Aussie tech site MTekk. This time, however, it's a photo, and the credit belongs elsewhere. The photo was first broken by iPaq fan site iPAQabilities, but MTekk ended up running down a much larger and more detailed version.

Wireless and battery drain fixes for TJ27, TJ37, TH55

Two more fixes, this time from Sony. The first deals with WiFi issues on the TJ37 and TH55 related to Power Save mode and certain brands of access points. The second patch corrects possible battery drain on the TJ Clies when a Memory Stick is removed while the unit is off.

The Return of the Son of McWiFi

Like the shambling creature from a bad C-grade horror movie, McDonalds' WiFi service just won't give up and die already. The company has decided to employ Wayport to provide wireless service for as many as 6,000 of its locations by the end of the year. This has the sickly smell of one of those ideas that looks great on paper for the first quarter, then as they realize the massive costs--and the fact that nobody wants to use the service--it will suddenly get thrown out faster than a dead woodchuck.
