Just bought the gadget and got a handful nice tips from the review.
One thing is really disappointing though! I cant connect it to my new Powerbook (Mac)[] Well, I did knew it before I bought it but....
Does anyone out there have some news or info concerning this?
I also really can´t figure out how to use the maps as a "Mapbook".

Hey Thanks for mentioning me, but the truth is Vike99 and Brian covered you in this review! If you can specifically tell us your problems connecting with the Mac I am sure we can help you fix that. For one thing, I would recommend totally uninstalling Palm Desktop Software from your Powerbook (also delete the Preferences for that Palm Desktop in your System Folder), then reinstall the software. This is usually a surefire way to solve that type of problem.

Missing ! What are the real alternatives to this product and how does it compare for pricing? I gues Dells's Axim GPS is the closest? All others seem over $1k once GPS added to a decent palm. PS has anyone used one of these on a Motorbike with an earpiece connected? This is what I want to do... !

I have used it on my motor bike with an ear plug and it works very well with auto route on. It provides turn by turn instructions without having to look at a map. It's great for the bike.

I would like to see a product for the mac where you can read and download mapsource maps without having to use VPC.

Ique is a great product!
