Turn a Samsung Galaxy Note II into a Desktop with the Smart Dock Discussion
Because of its large screen size, the Samsung Galaxy Note II can be considered a tabletphone -- part smartphone, part tablet. Those who want even more from it can add Samsung's Smart Dock and this device can turn into a desktop.

I could definitely see buying a Note 2 and a dock sometime in a year or two when it's 'obsolete' and cheap and using it as a clock radio, beside media device, etc. I hope they sell a black dock too.

I went to a Sprint store on Monday and got to fool around with the Note II for awhile - until the salesperson took it from me to "educate" me on it. So, as he fumbled around on it - I finally left.
My impressions of it: very fast and I enjoyed the size while using it. Carrying it may be a different story.
It seems that with some apps you can use its own handwriting recognition. I use Graffiti Pro on my phone. The salesman installed it - but since he wasn't listening to me on how to set it up (he had never seen Graffiti Pro or heard about it) he could not get it to work so he took it off.
My question still was not answered. Can I use Graffiti Pro on the Note II like I do now using their stylist?
The Note II definitely will be a phone that I'll consider in the Sprint when or if I upgrade. The docking station is just another plus, in my opinion, for considering the phone.

I've already got my Imagio doing that but, continuing in my best cheapskate tradition, I could see replacing my Galaxy S with one of these, especially after I got to handle one recently. Once it's been around for a while and no longer hovering near the cutting edge, I wouldn't mind trying it. Have a co-worker who just bought herself the new big screen LG and she's really enjoying it.
I don't know about using Grafitti Pro. When I got the Imagio, I got pretty proficient at "toothpick typing" on the keyboard and didn't seem to do as well with Block Recognizer. I still do pretty well with the Aceeca, though.
