There have been some complaints about the way Verizon is squeezing its logo onto the Home button below the screen. It doesn't bother me, but YMMV.

Yeah, it's not like Samsung is known for their design anyway. It's tiny and you can probably rub it off if you want (or cover it).

On my phone, the entire front is one piece of glass. The "buttons" appear to be stenciled on the front. I think it's the same with all contemporary Android smartphones. There's no physical button -- just a dedicated image on the front of the screen. It's not something you can scratch off or hide. I'm making the assumption it's the same with the home button for this device.

Actually the Galaxy S III had a separate "Home" button that was actually a button. Looking at the photos, it appears the Note II is the same way.

The center home button is plastic, but the label might be in the plastic itself.

Sorry Jig, I thought the original Note had a separate actual button and assumed the II was the same (as at least some are). So I should have been more clear. To be fair, I'm not sure how a flat 'virtual' button could have a symbol on it AND a Verizon logo. I do know that with the original Note, there were variants in different markets that had different button configurations.
