Zynga has never been a beloved company, but the gaming giant didn't do themselves any favors yesterday cutting nearly 5% of its employees during Apple's press conference. Zynga's recent layoffs appear to depict a serious decline in the company's earnings and could result in more drastic measures in the future.

Color me shocked. They've been driving users away from their games in droves through their aggressive-bordering-on-militant attempts to monetize every single thing and force people into spending money on them.
