Best Buy may have jumped the gun a bit -- it has begun taking pre-orders for a pair of Windows Phones headed for AT&T, even though the prices and release dates for these models have yet to be officially announced. UPDATED

Very aggressive price from Nokia. For all the new technology in the Lumia 920, I had assumed it'd be $249 with contract.

I feel good about the 8X selling for $99 with contract. At $199 with contract, like I expected, it didn't seem quite prepared to fight the iPhone 5 and Galaxy S3. But at $99 with contract with a polycarbonate unibody case, a high-res screen, and an excellent-quality camera, it's extremely competitive against the other $99-with-a-plan phones out there. This also lends credence to the rumors that the 8X is not the WP8 flagship from HTC, that something else is in the pipeline. As a midrange device, it's fantastic.
