Nearly every spec seems to be reduced, from screen resolution to camera quality to the speed of the dual-core processor. I'm not sure I'd agree with this lead-in. This is a perfectly reasonable mid-range device, but it's not the same functionality of the GS3 in a smaller package.

Didn't explain properly what the 1Ghz dual core is. Is that the Qualcomm S4 Play? That is not as fast as the ones with the Krait, but dual Cortex A5 is faster than what ARM underclaims it to be. Said to be slower than A9 core but my Quadrant benchmark on a device that uses such a core says the opposite.

In any case, those US midrange Samsungs like the Victory and Stellar have better CPUs, but don't come with Jellybean.
