Very nice. HTC just gets aesthetics right. I wish it had the kickstand from the Evo though. Maybe someone needs to make s slick case with a built-in kickstand.

This device is also a possible Nexus candidate, meaning it may have a Nexus version in addition to your usual HTC Sense equipped version.

A nice looking device.
I guess we are all going to have to get used to non-removable batteries. It looks that's the way they are all going. It's not that I personally ever have to swap them, I just want that as an option if the device locks up on me.

Batteries wear down and they flat line eventually. Removable batteries let you carry a spare if you do need it or use a long life alternative, which I have in Syd.
Companies get away with this because there's so little concern for long life electronics as people want to replace their phones every 2 years (or less), and that conditioning seems to be passing on to tablets, despite not having the same subsidy system to make people underestimate their true costs. I plan on my infinity lasting a very, very long time. It's not impossible to replace the battery, but I don't look forward to trying either. Worst case if I break the tabs on interior of the backing, I'll get a nice tight case to hold it all together for the last few years.I, for one, welcome our feline overlords.

I agree, they get away with it because people consider even these relatively expensive items to be 'throw aways.' They also like the larger capacities makers squeeze in.
On the other hand, I think the manufacturers over-emphasize thin-ness and light weight. Some are raving on the thinner, lighter, bigger iP5; but others actually think Apple went too far in the lightness dimension. I'd happily add some weight and thickness for a large, removable battery.

People might want to replace these things after two years. But the question is what to do with the old device? Sell it? Pass it on to a young relative? In either case, having a removable battery still helps because you can replace the old worn battery. I have seen worn batteries that warp and bloat, to the point it will force open the cover.
On the other hand, it seems Samsung, LG, and Sony, perhaps some others too are using improved battery technologies that increase the long term battery usage and number of charges, even by 2x. I know LG made such a recent announcement for the Optimus G, which is also the basis for the LG Nexus 4.
