Motorola RAZR i: Android Smartphone Powered by 2GHz Intel Processor Discussion
Motorola has unveiled the RAZR i, a smartphone with a 2GHz Intel processor. When it is released in Europe early next month it will be among the first Android models running on an Intel chip.

They didn't say how many cores is this, but let's assume based on early Atom heritage, there is only one. Yup, one. But Intel chips have something ARM chips don't and that is hyperthreading. Hyperthreading enables one core to act like two. In the case of the single core Intel Atom chips, much like a dual core, and those with dual cores, like a quad core. Ditto goes to the i3, i5 and the i7, which is a true quad core, but hyperthreading makes it run like you got 8 cores.

Yes, the RAZR i's chip is single-core.
