Re: Smartphone and Tablet Users Are Still Frustrated with Slow Mobile Download Speeds Discussion
As a non-web designer, I can only speak from the other side; but I too am often frustrated by websites (both mobile and regular). There are usually glaring design errors and huge amounts of clutter. It often looks like they never get a 'civilian' (like their mothers) to do a run-through to look for potential problems.

There ARE too many sites that aren't mobile-friendly. You'd think people would have addressed this by now.

Re: Smartphone and Tablet Users Are Still Frustrated with Slow Mobile Download Speeds Discussion
For me, it's not just the speed of websites loading. Most of the time I can get away with using mobile sites, which helps make it tolerable. The real problem is when it comes to doing anything else whatsoever. Around here, well outside the 4G areas, streaming music is dodgy, and streaming video is useless. It would be nice to actually be able to take advantage of things like Netflix, HBO Go, and Pandora.
