The HTC Trophy, the only Windows Phone handset on the Verizon Wireless network, will be receiving an OS upgrade to Windows Phone Tango, accordign to the carrier.

Whoop-dee-doo. I got Tango on my 7 Pro and it's really indistinguishable from Mango. The main changes for Tango are support for ultra-low hardware requirements for third-world market. For hardware designed to run Mango, Tango doesn't really add or change anything significant. WP7.8 will be a noticable upgrade for owners of current US handsets like the HTC Trophy, but going from Mango to Tango isn't.
