Today T-Mobile announced that the Samsung Galaxy Note will be available online and in select T-Mobile retail stores starting on August 8. This super-size Android phone has alread sold by the million around the world.

I don't quite understand the Equipment Installment Plan option. It sounds like you are paying for the equipment outright ($200 down, plus $400 over the next 20 months), but you are still tied to a voice and data contract. What is the advantage over subsidized? (I looked at T-Mobile's web site and still couldn't figure it out.) I must be missing something.

Unfortunately, it's more like the AT&T SGH-i717 variant, not the international GT-N7000 model.
I was hoping that T-Mobile would at least keep the Exynos SoC and the physical Home button that distinguish the GT-N7000.Current Mobile Computing Loadout:
