It's been a while since there's been any news about the Motorola Photon Q, a QWERTY slider phone from Sprint, but the carrier's CEO said during today's earnings call that the phone is coming "very soon."

Unfortunately, being on Sprint means it would be of limited usefulness in my area but neat phone.

Sure would like to see photos showing the keyboard.

Wasn't the previous Photon a rugged Nextel phone?
