The second device is shown rotated 180° from the first, with what looks like a Power button shown at the end next to the bottom of the iPhone 4, rather than a connector port. I vote pix is a fake.
Experience is what you get when you thought you were getting something else.

While it's admittedly a bit odd that in many of the pictures the iPhone 5 is rotated so that the Dock connector can't be seen, there is one what shows it clearly.

Thanks, Ed. That's a much better example, if it is indeed what to expect.
So the headphone jack would be relocated to the bottom? And those two sets of holes are speakers? Still seems odd to me.Experience is what you get when you thought you were getting something else.

That's where it's located on my iPod Touch 2nd Gen; I don't know about the newer ones.
