That's an impressive amount of phone for $100, even if that's sort of not that important in the long run of a contract. I guess they're making the Atrix a mid-tier phone. Still, it looks pretty close to what HTC offers with their newer models. It looks pretty nice aesthetically as well.

Any word if they will continue to offer accessories like the lapdock and media dock?

I would imagine they probably will. They've been doing it for their Droid models, after all.

Google owns Motorola and this is still shipping with ICS instead of JB?

Other than that, looks like a nice phone for an excellent price.

If it were going to start out with JB, it wouldn't be shipping yet. JB has not been released yet.

Still ships soon in the Play store. And I suspect there is at least a 3 month lead for a carrier to test and configure any phone, so it would have had o have Jellybean in April to be being released next week. The updates may or may not take that long. It will always roll out first to the Nexus devices because there is no carrier. That's why they exist-- to be developer devices.

Even if Motogoo were to get a Nexus type arrangement, those would have to be a separate line. The carriers still influence the game.

Google owns Motorola, but is running it as a separate entity. It is trying to avoid accusations of favoritism from Samsung, HTC, etc. So don't expect Motorola phones to get preferential treatment.
