I still wish Verizon would sell a version of the Sprint Evo 4G LTE. Unfortunately, it probably wouldn't matter with Verizon's new, super-costly plans.

With what, the Droid Inc 4G LTE? Or the Evo 4G LTE? Definitely not with the latter. The former might be possible depending on configuration. Any other carrier that uses 700 MHz LTE and SIM cards should work.

It seems to me that D was suggesting that, if V ereally wanted a device from Sprint, he should switch to Sprint.

HTC doesn't seem to have gotten through to Verizon that it wants to make fewer models. When I first heard of the Incredible 4G I assumed it was going to be a rebranded HTC One S. Nope, which is bad for HTC. As this company has realized, making specific products for one carrier isn't a winning strategy -- it cost too much to design, manufacture, and then support all of them.

I could; but really don't want to. I've had very bad experiences with Sprint, the coverage is poor in most areas I know of (obviously good in others), etc. I haven't checked out that phone yet; but plan to. If it's unbelievably great, I might consider switching (I'm probably going to leave Verizon anyway); but it would have to be very compelling.

The EVO and Incredible series (along with the Rezound) seems to have a design theme that is separate from the international HTC pack. Maybe its high time to combine the two and call it the EVO Incredible.

I think the Evo LTE is higher-specced than the Incredible, but I'll have to check. I'd just like them to either make an international model or rebadge it for Verizon.

Indeed the EVO LTE is higher spec'ed than the Incredible. Its like the One X vs. the One S, but the One S still has better specs than the Incredible as well.
