Judge Rules Samsung Galaxy Nexus Infringes on Apple Patents, Bans Sale in U.S. Discussion
A U.S. District Court Judge has issued a preliminary ruling that the Samsung Galaxy Nexus infringes on several patents held by Apple. As a result, the judge has banned the sale of this smartphone in the United States.

I believe that a ruling like that only applies to the regions covered by that district though. In any event, I'm sure Apple will be going after the SIII soon enough.

To clarify something I wrote in the article, Samsung is bared from importing the Galaxy Nexus into the U.S., but units that are already in this country can be sold, which is why this device is available.
