Damn, and I have been thinking I'm already tired of being split between two devices. This is a bit tempting, especially with the promise of Jelly Bean.

The price felt competitive as soon as they started selling direct again. And that wasn't that long ago. Last rumor had Google unveiling 5ish Nexus devices in November. A price cut isn't too surprising in itself, but it feels early to me.

$349 for an unlocked non subsidized phone of this class is nuts. That's a really good price. I don't know if it will get lower, to make way for the next wave of incoming Nexus devices by October. That $199 Nexus 7 is also very tempting.
