I was wondering if BH would mention this. First we heard about the postponement, then a possible date of Oct. 27th or something. Then I read in the Times that it would be today. I'm eager to see the new NP, almost as much as when the first iPhone came out. It could be a huge advance for Android.

NTT Docomo already leaked its appearance and specs when they announced their winter lineup of phones, which looks almost like an Android sweep. A leaked pic also came up in the GLBenchmarks website. I like the way it looks, kind of a blend between the Galaxy S2 and the Nexus S, with what appears to be metallic touches.

Yes, but there was an official event that seemed to come out of nowhere (at least with regard to the previous announcement of an Oct. 27th release).
I read that this has a 5 MP camera. I thought it was 8 MP, not that I care that much, since pixels are only one factor in photo quality. Apparently, it has some neat tricks built in though.
I'm only disappointed in the aesthetics. The design is very ordinary. A bit like a Ferrari V12 in a Camry (and not one of the nice Camrys).
