    In situations like this, it's always tough to judge whether he jumped or was pushed. But if Rubenstein is being shoved aside, he's going like a gentleman: “With webOS under Stephen DeWitt’s proven leadership, I’m looking forward to my new role and driving further innovation for webOS and other PSG products.”

    I suppose that it was coming one way or another. Palm was at a point of 'Buy us, or we're out of business', and they managed to get snapped up. However, leaving the head of that unit in place, after a new financial infusion, just doesn't make sense. Shake it up, or you'll just have another money sink.
