Casio G'zOne Commando Review: Tough but Capable Discussion
The Casio G'zOne Commando is a rugged smartphone, designed to survive outdoors or industrial situations where more delicate models would be at risk. That doesn't mean any of the standard smartphone features have been left out; this model runs Google's Android OS so it has a powerful web browser and email software, a 5 megapixel camera, Wi-Fi, GPS, and much more.
Available from Verizon Wireless for $200 with a two-year contract, it's comparably priced with many of Verizon's high-end smartphones.

Thank you, Adama.
Your point is well-made that anybody can use a tougher phone.
Got my capacitive stylii on my desk already.
In fact, the internet abounds with such so they must be popular.

ALMOST indestructible.
I made an idiot-mistake here. When I submitted the review package last night, I forgot to add the photos that I had taken. They're on their way into the system now. Sorry about that.
Anything associated with Apple peripherals is probably going to be popular to some degree. But yeah, the Commando definitely makes me wish that all phones came with the whole "immune to water" thing going for them. Or even that I could just get a nice slider like that.

Excellent review Adama, love the submersion test.
I know you can get otterbox cases etc for most devices, but there's something that just really appeals to me about this being built from the ground up as a kick it around device.
What capacitive stylus did you buy LS ? I've been looking at stylus the last few days and there is a lot of new models coming on the market compared to a year ago, seems with the popularity of the ipad, that a lot of people are realizing that an alternative to smearing finger fat over the screen, isn't necessarily a bad thing, along with the fact it opens new functionality as far as note taking, written to text, sketching, and makes typing easier for people like me with clumsy [and usually dirty] fingers. All they need to do is start fitting higher resolution capacitive sensors and make pointier sticks.LG Nexus 4
