Re: HTC ThunderBolt Launch Could Still Be Over a Week Away Discussion
Things are definitely unusually up in the air with this device. I honestly have no clue when it's going to be released. It could be Thursday, it could be next Monday, it could be next month. We'll just have to wait and see.
And it's interesting that Verizon may go out on a limb and charge over $200 with contract for the ThunderBolt. That price has been the high mark for quite some time now, with only a few brave enough to pass it.
Still, Sprint was successful selling the HTC EVO 4G at $250 with contract -- Maybe Verizon will be too.

Yeah, I keep seeing ads already for this device.
4G, in particular LTE would cost because of the patent royalties involved. LTE just adds to the patent royalties you have to pay, in addition to the CDMA, EV-DO and other bands you are using, each has their own set of patent royalty tax.I am @guamguy on Twitter.
