Default Palm Pre 2 Could Finally Be Coming to Verizon this Month Discussion

When the Palm Pre 2 was unveiled last year, HP said this webOS-based smartphone is going to be released by Verizon Wireless. More than three months later, this still hasn't happened. That's apparently about to change, though.

HVGA is the lowest resolution I consider acceptable, but it's too bad the Pre 2 retained the 3.1-inch display. That's simply too small in a time when many devices have 3.7-inch screens or even larger.

Still, this was the last model designed by Palm before it was taken over by HP. I'm hoping HP's designers will bring in larger screens and a bigger keyboard.

I've crabbed enough about the Pre and Pixi already so I won't bore everybody by repeating it.

I guess this was all they could put into the pipeline while they concentrated on the tab. At least this way there's something out there running a reputedly great OS so we don't let it slip our minds.

I realize it takes time to put out a decent product, particularly an OS, but it seems dawdling at the starting gate is the order of the day. And not just for HP/Palm.
