I agree.
Also technically, I don't see why Nokia and Intel should try to do with Meego too. In fact, it might be even easier with Meego. All these mobile Linux (Android, WeOS, Meego, LiMo) all use the same Linux kernel anyway. The Dalvik VM is open source. Gaining more platforms to run Android apps is even a plus for Google too.
Smartphone OSes like Blackberry and Symbian, along with some featurephone OSes, already run some Java VM.I am @guamguy on Twitter.

Re: Future BlackBerry Devices Might Be Able to Run Android OS Apps Discussion
This would be a huge deal. All those corporate Blackberries sitting on the app sidelines would suddenly be able to run Android apps. Well that's not quite true. Future QNX blackberries would be able to run Android apps. This would make the smartphone OS wars suddenly look a lot more like the PC wars.
While I love reading about iPhone sales records, I recognize Android is coming with tens of dozens of devices so I wouldn't care if Apple market share shrank to a similar percent it has of the PC market as long as the company remained healthy.-Jeff
