Same study is also trying to sell their own SMobile services. That's just sounds way wrong to me.
All apps that fall either two categories, social networking and those that enhance your phone functionality, would easily fall under these. So basically, its like saying Facebook for Android, Twitter for Android, Handcent SMS can be harmful to your data health. Of course they are, but that's universal to all platforms from mobile to desktop. As long as you are socially networking, your data is always at risk.
