Re: Opera Mini 5 Now Available as a Native Windows Mobile App Discussion
I just installed it on my TP2 and it is very quick. I've had just a few minor problems with it, but it's quickly becoming my favorite browser. There seem to be a few server problems -- passwords aren't always remembered or clicking links will display the same page rather than the next page -- but those problems are minor and quickly disappear with an additional click or two. Clicking the back button displays the previous page instantly. Wow, this really is zippy!

By the way, which features from Opera Mobile are missing? Is it mainly just Opera Dragonfly and Flash Lite that are missing?Opera Mini doesn't include all the features of the full Opera Mobile, but it requires a smaller "footprint" of resources. In addition, it compresses data traffic by up to 90 percent, resulting in significantly improved page-loading and speed. This also results in lower browsing costs when on a pay-per-MB data plan or when roaming.
