Nokia Reaches Out to Mac Users
Nokia is working to make it easier for those with Mac OS X computers to use its smartphones.
The company is offering a free plug-in to help users synchronize the data on a variety of its smartphones with one of Apple's computers. This will let users sync the iCal information on their smartphone with Apple's iSync.
This same plug-in can also sync contact data, including phone numbers, mailing addresses, email addresses, personal web sites, and even photos
A page on Nokia's web site gives a set of instructions for setting up the synchronization relationship.
This page also lists the S60-based devices that can work with iSync. This covers a wide range, from the Nokia 6600 to the Nokia E62.
The desktop or laptop needs to be running Mac OS X 10.4.9 or higher, and have all available updates from Apple installed.

Re: Nokia Reaches Out to Mac Users
If Nokia wants to win on smartphones, they have to solve the issue of 3rd-party software support. Blackberry has the very same problem. There are lots of software available for Palm and WM devices.
