Arrow Video of Windows Mobile Treo Appears

A new video is far and away the best evidence yet that there really will be a Treo running Windows Mobile in the near future.

Question the video could still be a hoax..

I am often wrong on such things, so no flaming please - but I just wanted to point out that perhaps a mischevous person could fake the videoclips.
They could just have a couple of JPG images of Windows Mobile OS loaded onto the Treo, and then flick from one to the other, so it appears the Start menu is popping up!

I only propose this as it is so hard to believe!! I would be delighted if I am wrong

LOL good try, but I'm not buying it. That was so fake. Nothing more than video on the Treo.

I have a set of videos originally posted at MacSpy showing a new Mac PDA that runs something looking surprisingly like Mac OS X on what seems to be a 640x480 PDA. The PDA looked quite plausible, although a little off in terms of style. Never showed up though.

I have another video showing a PalmOS device running something like MacOS X... using an attached hard drive. Only problem there - the Palm Pilot in the picture was a III. Also a no show.

Sorry, I'll believe this one when I see it. It's possible. It's not even all that implausible - but it's too big a change to be likely.

Of course, any unconfirmed information not coming from a handheld manufacturer could be a fake.

But, if this is a hoax, it's a very well done one. This isn't your typical Photoshop mock-up. Any hoaxers would certainly have to have put an extraordinary amount of work into this, like putting new buttons on the device, repainting part of it, etc.

Still, who can say? Maybe someone on summer vacation found himself with a lot of spare time.

I'd be a bit more confident of this if it was a Sprint device, as that's the wireless company that always gets the new Treo models first.

The only people that will believe this are the ones that believe in the Bigfoot and Loc ness monsters photos/videos.

And don?t even get me started on Crop Circles.

It's sometimes the most unlikely rumors that turn out to be true.

All photo's and video's on the Treo has a white border. There is no white border on these pictures and video.

Next some-one will say some-one, as a hoax, actually made a win mobile 5 Treo, just as a hoax, you know, to rile palm users.

If it were a model in development, I would think it would have no carrier's name on the device. Remember Tungsten X ????

The white border is part of the Palm OS, and isn't limited to Treos. Every device I have with this operating system has it, whether it was made by Palm, Sony, or Tapwave.

On the other hand, no Pocket PC I own has the white border. If the Treo 670 had the border, I would immediately know it was a fake.
