Arrow Nextel Now Offering BlackBerry with Bluetooth

Nextel has just begun carrying the BlackBerry 7520. This isn't this company's first BlackBerry wireless handheld, but it is its first BlackBerry with Bluetooth.

This is great news but where is the Palm os Nextel?? How many can really spend 60 on a voice plan then still have to buy a blackberry plan just to enable the device. They won't let you buy it to use as just a phone/pda combo with out the blackberry plan.
May the palm be with you !

There are other BlackBerries that have much cheaper data plans available, however the Nextel BlackBerry is the only "Push To Talk" BlackBerry model available and it has unique features that are loved by Nextel users. Ah, the price to pay for good 'ol Nextel.

The 7520 is more full featured. There are hidden features too! If you want to use the data service on the 7520 with another device, the 7520 can be used as a modem for a laptop too. (See my BlackBerry FAQ link below -- there are instructions on how to do this, with successful users on model 7100 and 7290)

Thank you for the instructions, all this is a great benefit I did not expect -
when I bought my NEXTEL 7520

However can someone please explain how to use "S=2" as a dial up number when it contains an illegal character? Stonent?

Win 2000 pro busts me for the "=" when I enter this as a dialing number as instructed ....

I have no problem querying the modem, but cannot connect ....

    Please help !
