Ok, after reading this thread I discovered many statements that are not exactly true, so I would like to clarify things a little bit:
Pocket PC 2003 is based on Windows Ce.Net 4.1
It won't be a major upgrade, I would call it an evolution, not a revolution...
It will offer Bluetooth Support, WLan Support, Landscape Mode and quite a few surprises that I unfortunately cannot publish at the moment...
ActiveSync v3.7 will be offered with new PPC2k3 Devices and will support the new OS... AS 3.7 is currently in beta..
Please do not ask me how I know all that...Think positive, Life is just another experience

If AS 3.7 is to be bundled with PPC 2003 devices and AS 3.7 is only in beta, that would indicate that PPC 2003 won't be out for quite a while longer.Originally posted by petvas

Well I'll take your word for it, since you have offered the best mental picture yet of PPC2003 and basically that's what i wanted to hear. We'll all see soon enough anyway. If you are right, then PPC2003 might just be worth the upgrade.

AFAIK, eVB apps should still be able to run under PPC 2003, but VB.NET, C#.NET, and embedded Visual C++ would be the preferred development platforms.Originally posted by ctitanic
