Also, you know where I can a small clip cover? Even if I did get another case, I got my Edge from Ebay. It didn't come with a Springboard Attachment, or the small cover in case you want to take off the flip lid.

Eureka! I've succesfuly connected my Vior Edge to Internet over IrDA with my SEK700i Phone!

I am curious, how did you get it to work? I have an Edge and a SE Z520a. Just for the fun of it, I'd like to connect the two.

I must be stuck in time, but happily so My first PDA was and still is a HandSpring Visor Deluxe (Palm OS Software v.3.1H3) recently off an eBay auction I bid and bought a HandSpring Visor Prism (Palm OS Software v.3.5.2H1…) this is my dilemma. I want to back-up all my data and applications from the Deluxe to the Prism. How would I go about this?

Please help.

I would either get a hold of two Sprongboard backup cards, or hotsync each one to your PC under a different hotsync name.

Thank you for the welcome. With the auction came a lot of goodies. One of them is HandSpring Backup Module. So I inserted it into the old Deluxe and backed it up then I inserted it into the new Prism and attempted a restore. It gave me the following error message on the screen

"The data on this Backup Module does not appear to have come from this handheld. Continuing to restore will overwrite handheld data. Restore anyway?"

I choose to cancel it. Also, in the Getting Started booklet that came with the Module it said

"Important information

Using a Backup Module with a particular Handspring handheld will associate the module with that handheld. If you subsequently choose to use the module with a different you will get a warning message.

If you restore your handheld from data on a Backup Module, any changes made to the data on the handheld since the backup will be lost. Exercise caution in restoring data from a Backup Module not associated with your handheld."

Question of the day, will I screw-up completely my new Prism?

Visor Neo in blue and about 5 years old off Ebay(I bought it about 4 years ago)! Came with Palm Desktop software 4.0.1 . My recent problem was that I couldn't get information to exchange between the Visor and the Desktop. I guess when I upgraded computers I just used the defaults and didn't pay attention. I uninstalled, reinstalled, unchecked the conduit to Outlook and checked the one to the Desktop and life is good!
