Handspring customer service

When Handspring first introduced their PDA's there were some terrible customer service reports.

Has this improved?

I can't speak first hand to this, as I have never bought a Visor directly from Handspring. But judging from anecdotal evidence (i.e. the amount of anger/venting on the mailing lists) it seems that things have gotten much better in that department.
