Virus protection for PDA
Any opinions as to how serious a threat viruses are to PDAs?
PocketPC Magazine didn't even have a category or a software candidate for their 2004 Best Software Awards for virus protection. I'm only aware of Symantec's Norton Antivirus for Handhelds for available software...

Honestly, you dont need it on your PDA. Your best protection is to not download and install any files that you havent throughly checked out. And if you happen to be traveling and a note comes out of the blue to your device, dont open it. Just decline it and turn off your wireless settings.
Peace and Blessings

Agreed- the biggest virus thread for your PDA will be downloading e-mail which have PC viruses in them, and then syncing your PDA with your PC- but any good PC-based virus scanner should neutralise these.
Actual handheld risk is low at the moment.
