Re: My review of HTC Trophy running Windows Phone 7.5 Mango
Windows Vista wasn't around all that long and it certainly wasn't popular. Yet new software debuting years after Windows 7 replaced Windows Vista (such as Mass Effect III, released this month) don't require Windows 7 to run. They're backward compatible with Vista. The OS system requirements for the game are: "Windows XP SP3/Vista SP1, Windows 7." Not just Windows 7.
I am very, very confident that essentially all apps released in the year or so after Windows Phone 8 drops will be backwards-compatible with Mango.Samsung Galaxy S III (U.S. Cellular, unrooted, Launcher8). My review.
Sony VAIO Duo 11 (i3-3217U, 11.6" 1080p IPS, N-Trig stylus, Windows 8). My video review; handwriting test.
Sony VAIO F2390X (i7-2670QM, 540M, 16.4" 1080p, Windows 7 Pro). My video review.
